history

The company received its flight operating license in 2014. A first machine, a BAe 146-300 , joined the fleet in April 2015, which was taken over by Astra Airlines and still flies in their colors. In addition to charter flights, the company also offers VIP charter. The company is based in Bucharest . The CEO is Aurel Bițianu.

In February 2019, the only aircraft in Aviro Air's fleet at the time, a BAe 146-300, was returned to the unknown owner. The aim is a fleet restructuring; In this regard, Aviro Air announced that it is aiming to use a Boeing 737 from the Classic series or an Airbus A320 in the coming months.
