Axel shock

Axel Schock (born September 11, 1965 in Neckarbischofsheim ) is a German journalist and book author .

Schock grew up in Sinsheim / Elsenz and studied literature , theater studies and journalism at the Free University of Berlin . The first literary publications (prose, poetry, song texts for various bands) began in 1982. In 1985 he received the Scheffel Prize .

He has lived and worked in Berlin since 1985 as a cultural journalist and publicist for various magazines and daily newspapers, including as editor for Hinnerk (Hamburg) and as an author for Cinema , Berliner Zeitung , taz , Berliner Morgenpost and uMag , kulturnews and the news agency dapd . He also wrote features for radio (including RIAS Berlin, DeutschlandRadio and Radio 100 ) and worked for television . He also published various literary titles and non-fiction books under a pseudonym.
