The Büchelsberg is a mountain in the north-western Odenwald, approx. 1.5 km east of Darmstadt . The 216.4 m high mountain in the Darmstadt forest area is partially forested. North and west of Büchel Berg flows Rabe raft . To the northeast of the mountain is the Waltersteich (also: "Walthersteich"). To the east is the "Ludwigsbrunnen". The "Mathilde Temple" is located on the southern slope. To the south is the “Mühltalstraße” and the Modau as well as the Schleifberg .
