Bünyamin Cesur Karataş (born May 13, 1996 in Linz , Austria ) is a Turkish soccer player .

Career

Karataş started his career at ASKÖ Perg . In November 2007 he joined the LASK youth group . In May 2012 he made his debut for the LASK amateurs in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Michael Steiner on matchday 29 of the 2011/12 season against the amateurs of SK Sturm Graz in the 76th minute. At the end of the season he had to relegate with LASK II as the bottom of the table from the regional league, but after the second-rate LASK professionals had their license withdrawn, this would have had to be done on a non-relegation place anyway.

In August 2013 he made his debut for the now third-class first team of LASK when he was brought into play on the third match day of the 2013/14 season against SK Austria Klagenfurt in the 87th minute for Radovan Vujanović . By the end of the season he made two appearances in the regional league for LASK, in that season he was champion of the regional league center with the club and in relegation after a win and a draw against SC-ESV Parndorf in 1919 he was also able to enter the second division rising up.

After the promotion, Karataş moved into the squad of the SPG FC Pasching / LASK Juniors, which was launched for the 2014/15 season . After five assignments for LASK Juniors, he moved to Union St. Florian in January 2015 . In May 2015 he scored his first goal for St. Florian in the Regionalliga in a 1-1 draw against Union Vöcklamarkt . After half a year at St. Florian, he returned to Pasching / LASK Juniors for the 2015/16 season. In February 2016 he was hired by FC Liefering , but awarded as a cooperation player directly to Pasching.

For the 2016/17 season he was re-registered as a player with FC Red Bull Salzburg , but was loaned out again directly after Pasching. In November 2016 he was against Floridsdorfer AC for the first time in the squad of the LASK professionals, but was not used. After the 2016/17 season, both his contracts with Salzburg and LASK expired and he left the clubs.

For the 2017/18 season Karataş moved to Turkey for fourth division team Darıca Gençlerbirliği . In August 2017 he made his debut in the TFF 3rd Lig , when he was in the starting line-up against Ergene Velimeşe SK on the first day of that season . He scored his first goal for Darıca in a 3-1 win over Ankara Demirspor in September 2017 . By the end of the season he made 33 appearances in the fourth-highest Turkish league and scored seven goals. He finished the second group of the TFF 3rd League with his club as a master and thus rose to the TFF 2nd Lig . In this he played his first game against Tokatspor in September 2018 .

In January 2019, he moved to the third-class Samsunspor .
