Bustedt is a south-eastern part of Bünde in the Herford district .

With 1,719 inhabitants (as of September 30, 2009), Bustedt is the third smallest district in Bünder. After Bustedt is Good Bustedt named, but only at the Hiddenhausen is located. Bustedt is characterized in particular by residential developments, which developed mainly from the 1950s. There are several shops and smaller companies along Weseler Strasse and Dobergstrasse. Bustedt has a primary school. Until 1968 Bustedt was an independent municipality in the office of Herford-Hiddenhausen. On January 1, 1969, Bustedt was incorporated into the city of Bünde.
