The kkStB series of tenders 156 was a series of tenders operated by the kk state railways (kkStB).

The kkStB procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1910 as a successor to the  kkStB tender series 56 . They were made by the Floridsdorf locomotive factory , the Bohemian-Moravian Machine Factory , Ringhoffer in Prague- Michov, the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , the StEG locomotive factory , the Kasimir Lipiński machine and wagon factory in Sanok and the Maschinenbau-Akt. -Got. before Breitfeld, Daněk & Comp. delivered.

Because of the immense number produced, it was one of the standard tenders of the kkStB.
