The Gmina Babiak is a rural community in the powiat Kolski of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name ( German Waldau , 1943–1945 Babenwald ) with about 1500 inhabitants.

traffic
Babiak station, still served by a pair of long-distance trains, is on the Chorzów – Tczew railway line . The narrow-gauge railway Włocławek – Przystronie also used to run through the municipality.
