The Baggerkuhle Gribbohm is a nature reserve in the Schleswig-Holstein community of Gribbohm in the Steinburg district .
The 19 hectare nature reserve is registered under number 123 in the directory of nature reserves of the Ministry for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment, Nature and Digitization . It was expelled at the end of 1986 (date of regulation: December 23, 1986). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Steinburg district.
The nature reserve is located northwest of Itzehoe around 1.75 kilometers east of the Kiel Canal in an agricultural area. In the south it borders directly on the embankment of the Marschbahn , in the north on a state road . To the west and east it is bounded by field and farm roads.
The nature reserve is protecting an abandoned excavator pit that was last used as a rinsing area. It is characterized by the juxtaposition of wet, alternately moist and dry sand locations. Some of the area is covered with trees, others are open areas.
