Bargstedt is a single-track stop on the Bremerhaven - Buxtehude railway line and has been part of the Elbe-Weser (EVB) railways and transport network since 1991 . It is located on Poststrasse (K 64) in the south of the village.

history

In 1902 the Bremerhaven-Buchholz line was built, which in Bremervörde had a connection to the Stade-Osterholz-Scharmbeck line . During this time the train station in Bargstedt was built.

After EVB acquired the Bremervörde – Buchholz line in 1991 and merged with the Buxtehuder-Harsefelder Eisenbahn in 1993, EVB changed the timetable on December 26, 1993. Before, the passenger trains ran from Bremerhaven to Stade , now more directly from Bremerhaven via Buxtehude to Neugraben (connection to the S3 line of the Hamburg S-Bahn ). When the S3 was extended to Stade in 2007/08, the EVB only drove to Buxtehude.

The abbreviation in the operating point directory is ABAT and the international train station number is 08007840.

The stop has a side platform on the north side and a Park & Ride parking lot with 22 spaces and a Bike & Ride parking lot with 30 spaces for bicycles.
