IC 373 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 176 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 75,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 1600 , NGC 1601 , NGC 1603 , IC 372 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on February 11, 1893 .
