IC 377 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type S in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 408 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 110,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies IC 375 , IC 376 , IC 378 , IC 380 .

The object was discovered on October 14, 1891 by Stéphane Javelle .
