IC 365 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 330 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 1550 , IC 363 , IC 364 , IC 2057 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on January 12, 1894 .
