IC 363 is a compact dwarf galaxy of Hubble type C in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 155 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 5,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 1550 , IC 364 , IC 365 , IC 366 .
The object was discovered on September 16, 1890 by Sherburne Wesley Burnham .
