IC 384 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E3 in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 206 million light years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 1636 , IC 385 , IC 388 , IC 389 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 13, 1892 .
