NGC 1632 = IC 386 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 219 million light years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter. In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1636 and IC 382 .
The property was discovered by Frank Muller in 1886 .
