NGC 1593 = NGC 1608 = IC 2077 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 166 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies NGC 1586 , NGC 1587 , NGC 1588 , NGC 1589 are in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on November 7, 1863 .
