IC 387 is a faint barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is around 210 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 55,000 light years . Together with eight other galaxies, it is a member of the NGC 1667 group ( LGG 118 )
