The Vendenheim – Wissembourg railway is a non-electrified railway line in Alsace . The Vendenheim – Haguenau section was opened on July 18, 1855, the Haguenau – Wissembourg section on October 23, 1855. The construction costs amounted to 1.1 million marks. The second track on this route was built in 1871.

It is used by TER Alsace Regional Express trains on route 33 . In addition, on weekends and public holidays, the route also runs a pair of Deutsche Bahn and SNCF trains in cooperation as the Strasbourg Express on the route Strasbourg - Wissembourg - Winden (Pfalz) - Landau (Pfalz) Hbf - Neustadt (Weinstr) Hbf . However, this train only stops in Haguenau between Strasbourg and Wissembourg . The train material used here are multiple units of the SNCF series Alstom Coradia A TER X 73500 (analogous to the DB series 641, also known as whale ).

The line between Vendenheim and Haguenau is equipped with the Automatique Lumineux (BAL) block. The Manuel de Voie Unique (BMVU) block is used between Haguenau and Wissembourg .
