Balázs Gond (born September 10, 1987 ) is a Hungarian biathlete .

Balázs Gond starts for SC Budapest . Since 2005 he started in the Junior European Cup. In Langdorf he took part in the Junior European Championships in 2006 and was 65th in the individual and 81st in the sprint. Gond then made his debut in Martell as the 50th sprint in the men 's European Biathlon Cup . The debut in the Biathlon World Cup followed in 2007 in Ruhpolding , where the Hungarian was 119th in the sprint. A little later he started in Martell at his first Junior World Championship, where 74th place was the best result in the individual. A year later in Ruhpolding was 68th place in the individual best result. Also at the Junior European Championship 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě Gond achieved his best result with a 61st place in the individual. He also took part in the men's sprint competition and was 80 there. Previous career highlight was participation in the 2009 Biathlon World Championships in Pyeongchang , where he was 111th in the individual and 199th in the sprint. In the further course of the season, the Hungarian missed at the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2009 in Nové Město na Moravě as 31st of the sprint by one place qualification for the mass start race. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell he reached the 28th place in the sprint and was 25th in the pursuit race.
