Balázs Pándi

Balázs Pándi (born August 6, 1983 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian drummer who is active in many scenes from metal to jazz .

Live and act

As a child and teenager, Pándi played in a youth orchestra for nine years, learning classical percussion and accordion . At the same time, he began to be interested in punk music back then .

Pándi cooperates regularly with Merzbow . He has also worked with Venetian Snares , Mats Gustafsson , Mikołaj Trzaska , The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble , Thurston Moore , Wadada Leo Smith , Jamie Saft , Joe Morris , Ivo Perelman and Trevor Dunn , among others . He plays regularly in the band Obake, was a member of Rope Cosmetology from 2009–2012 and founded the band Metallic Taste of Blood with Colin Edwin .
