Ballstrasse 8 (Quedlinburg)
The house ball Straße 8 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the eastern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Directly to the north is the also listed building at Ballstrasse 9 .
Architecture and history
The half-timbered house , which is only five bundles wide , was built around 1700. The building is conspicuous in the street because it is one of the few three-story houses in the neighborhood, which is otherwise characterized by two-story buildings. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. The framework has the decorative elements typical of the construction period, such as pyramid beam heads , decorative lining of the compartments and profiled filler wood. There are struts on the second floor .
The front door, designed in the style of classicism , was built around 1830.
