The house ball Straße 9 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the eastern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Directly to the south is the house Ballstrasse 8 , which is also listed , and to the north is the house Ballstrasse 10 .

Architecture and history

The small two-storey half - timbered house dates from around 1700. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. It is only four containers wide and has the typical decorative shapes of the construction period on its facade. Pyramid beam heads and profiled filler wood can be found on the framework . The basement was redesigned during the classicism period . The front door of the building dates from this time.
