Balsa is a Hungarian community in the county Ibrány in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County .
Geographical location
Balsa is 14 kilometers northwest of the city of Ibrány , on the left bank of the Tisza . Neighboring communities are Szabolcs and Gávavencsellő . The community of Kenézlő lies on the opposite bank of the Tisza .
Infrastructure
In Balsa there is a mayor's office, kindergarten, elementary school, library, cultural center, post office as well as a general practitioner and pharmacy.

traffic
Road 3827 runs through Balsa. The nearest train station is to the southwest in the town of Rakamaz . There is a year-round ferry connection across the Tisza to Kenézlő.
