The website laut.de rated the album with five out of a possible five points and especially highlighted the single Liebes Lied :
“ The Absolute Beginner prove with a terrific album, both musically and in a snotty rhyme and rap technique, that the Hamburg rap school has elite quality. The lyrics are about fat beats, styles and such an exaggerated self-image that you simply cannot avoid actually buying it from them. [...] The music, the voices, the melodies of the refrains, the beats and the little gimmicks are what ultimately give the whole thing the finishing touches for a sensation: The 'love song' has a clearly (intended) hypnotic effect, especially as a single appeared that screams 'buy me' and anyway or because of it or what-know-I is wonderfully lovable. "
In the 100th edition of Juice , the album was retrospectively rated six out of six crowns. Laut.de gave Bambule another five out of five points in its milestones category in 2016 by means of a more detailed evaluation.
