Barbara Ahrons

Barbara Ahrons (born September 20, 1944 in Sensburg , East Prussia ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life

Ahrons has lived in Hamburg since 1945. She finished high school with a middle school leaving certificate and then completed an apprenticeship and a master's examination as a master tailor . She has been a self-employed clerk in the printing industry since 1971 .

politics

Ahrons joined the CDU in 1981. From 1983 to 1993 she was an elected citizen in technical committees of the Hamburg-Eimsbüttel district assembly . From October 1993 to 2011 she was a member of the citizenship of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg . For the state election in 2008 of Aaron was of their party on 2 June 2007, 70.4% of the country's list chosen over which they could move again in Parliament. As a member of the state parliament , she was a member of the economic and budget committees for her parliamentary group . In the world of June 21, 2009 she was quoted as follows: An absolute smoking ban would be inappropriate for the "cosmopolitan city of Hamburg with its free thinking," says Barbara Ahrons, the economic expert of the CDU parliamentary group.

Other offices

Ahrons has been state chairwoman of the Hamburg medium-sized and business association of the CDU since 1994 and its deputy national chairwoman since 1999. In addition, she is chair of the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs in the Hamburg Regional Association.
