Barbara Anderson (born November 27, 1945 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actress .

Life

Anderson grew up in Brooklyn and Memphis , Tennessee . There she won the Miss Memphis election . She moved to Hollywood in the mid-1960s to pursue an acting career. In 1966 she had guest roles in Starship Enterprise and The People at Shiloh Ranch . The following year she got the role of Eve Whitfield in the television series The Boss with Raymond Burr . By 1971 she played the role in 105 episodes and was awarded an Emmy in 1968 . She left the series after marrying Don Burnett. Anderson and Burnett were married until November 2009, the marriage remained childless.

After retiring from the series, she had a recurring role on the final season of Cobra, Take Over . She then played in various series and television productions. She was last seen in the TV movie The Boss Returns , a sequel to the series.
