Barbara Bouchet
Barbara Bouchet (actually: Bärbel Gutscherova or Barbara Gutscher ; born August 15, 1943 in Reichenberg , Reichsgau Sudetenland ) is a German-American film actress who mainly works in Italy.
Life
Having lived in Munich since 1953, she emigrated to the USA with her family. There she became known as a model on the front pages of various fashion magazines, before she first appeared on television from 1963 and then as a film actress. She received a starlet contract with 20th Century Fox in 1964 and was employed by Otto Preminger .
In 1969 she moved to Italy , where she was mainly successful in numerous erotic comedies . In addition, she has repeatedly appeared in major international productions. She starred in over 70 films, including Miss Moneypenny's daughter in Casino Royale from 1967. In the early 1980s, she moved back to the United States, where she could be seen as Mrs. Schermerhorn in Gangs of New York in 2002 .
In 1976 Barbara Bouchet married the Italian film producer Luigi Borghese .
From 1985 onwards she devoted herself to fitness training and published various books and videos on aerobics and similar topics, which were widely used in Italy. She also worked as a painter.
