Barbara Stöckl (2015)

Barbara Stöckl (born April 2, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian TV and radio presenter.

Life

After attending a sports high school, she began studying technical mathematics at the Vienna University of Technology in 1981 . During her studies she worked as an assistant director for the ORF youth show " Okay ", which she moderated from 1985 onwards. From 1988 to 1993 she hosted the youth magazine Doppelpunkt on German ZDF . Stöckl commented on the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 in Zagreb for ORF . From 2000 to 2002 she also moderated the quiz program “ Millionenshow ” on ORF . Since 2013 she has moderated the non-confrontational talk show Stöckl named after her. Together with the director Peter Nagy , Stöckl runs the production company KIWI TV.

She has three sisters and one brother. A sister, Claudia , born in 1966 , became known as a radio host. She was with the former ORF sports reporter Peter Elstner for over 10 years. Stöckl is in a relationship with the psychiatrist Fritz Riffer. Her nephew is the actor Marlon Boess .

• She received a Golden Romy three times (1996, 1997, 1998) .
• In 2010, she was of Fundraising Verband Austria for fundraiser of the year awarded.
• 2015: Gold Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria
• 2017: Great Golden Decoration of Honor for Services to the State of Lower Austria
