Barry Van Dyke
Barry Van Dyke (born July 31, 1951 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American actor .
He is the second son of Dick Van Dyke , the brother of Stacy Van Dyke (* 1955) and the nephew of Jerry Van Dyke , both of whom are also actors. Also Leroy Van Dyke is an uncle of him. Further siblings are Christian Van Dyke (* 1950) and Carrie Beth Van Dyke (* 1961).
Van Dyke became known to a wide audience from 1993 at the side of his father with the crime series Diagnosis: Murder . After that, from 2006 to 2008 both were seen together in the crime series Murder 101 as a duo, but here not in roles as father and son.
Barry Van Dyke has been married to Mary Van Dyke since 1974. He is the father of the actors Carey (* 1976), Shane (* 1979), Wes (* 1984) and Taryn (* 1986). All four children also starred in some of the episodes of Diagnosis: Murder .
