Barthélémy Malunga (* 1912 in Manga , Democratic Republic of the Congo ; † March 15, 1995 in Kamina , Haut-Lomami ) was Bishop of Kamina .

Life

Barthélémy Malunga received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Kamina on April 21, 1946 .

On July 24, 1969, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Thuburnica and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Kamina. The Archbishop of Kinshasa , Joseph-Albert Cardinal Malula , donated him episcopal ordination on November 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Lubumbashi , Eugène Kabanga Songasonga , and the Bishop of Kamina, Victor Petrus Keuppens OFM .

Paul VI appointed him on March 11, 1971. to the bishop of Kamina. On January 22, 1990, Pope John Paul II accepted Barthélémy Malunga's resignation because of his age.
