Bartosz Huzarski (born October 27, 1980 in Świdnica ) is a former Polish cyclist .

Career

Bartosz Huzarski began his career in 2002 with the Polish cycling team Mróz . The following year he won a stage of the International Peace Tour . When the UCI ProTour belonging Tour of Poland in 2005 , he chose the mountain classification for himself and was second in the intermediate sprint. The following year he was able to defend his victory in the mountain classification.

In 2008 Huzarski won small races in his homeland, u. a. the overall ranking of Szlakiem Grodów Piastowskich . In 2009 he switched to ISD . At the Settimana Internazionale 2010 in Italy he won on a part, as well as at the Settimana Ciclistica Lombarda . In 2011 he joined the German team NetApp . At the 2012 Giro , he finished second in one stage in Assisi . In 2013 he won the intermediate sprint classification of the Tour of Poland .

In 2014 Huzarski was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland .

In 2015 he was part of the team that won the time trial at the Giro del Trentino . On the 7th stage of the 2015 Tour de France , he was named the most combative rider of the day.

After he no longer received a contract from his team, he ended his career as an active player at the end of the 2016 season.
