The 63rd Tour of Poland was held from September 4th to 10th, 2006 in seven stages over a distance of 1221.5 km. The stage race was part of the UCI ProTour 2006 .
In addition to the twenty ProTeams required to start , the Professional Continental Teams Miche , Ceramica Flaminia and Intel-Action received a wildcard.
The overall ranking was won by the German Stefan Schumacher , the points ranking by the Belgians Wouter Weylandt , the sprint ranking by the Pole Marcin Osiński , the mountain ranking by the Pole Bartosz Huzarski and the team ranking by the French team Crédit Agricole .
