The 62nd Tour of Poland took place from September 12th to 18th, 2005. It was held in eight stages over a distance of 1247 km. The first four stages were flat stages, the following four are mountain stages.
The Kazakh drivers Alexander Vinokurow , Andrei Kaschetschkin , Dmitri Murawjow and Dmitri Fofonow did not get a visa in time and could not start.
The overall classification was won by Kim Kirchen from Luxembourg , the points classification also won by the Pole Bartosz Huzarski , the sprint classification by Robert Förster from Germany and the team classification by the Dutch team Rabobank .
