The 2014 European Baseball Championship was the 33rd  European Championship in baseball . It was held from September 12 to September 21, 2014 in Germany and the Czech Republic . A total of twelve teams, including Germany , took part in this tournament. The group stage consisted of two groups of 6 teams each. Group A games were played in the Armin Wolf Arena in Regensburg , Bavaria , and Group B games in Ostrava , Czech Republic . The group phase lasted from September 12 to 16, 2014. The main round with the placement and final matches was played in Brno , Blansko and Třebíč and ran from September 18 to 21, 2014.

Italy competed as defending champion .
