Basile Tapsoba (born December 9, 1942 in Koudougou ) is former bishop of Koudougou .

Life

Basile Tapsoba was ordained a priest on April 11, 1958 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Koudougou diocese . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Koudougou and titular bishop of Mesarfelta on December 19, 1981 .

The Archbishop of Ouagadougou , Cardinal Paul Zoungrana MAfr , donated him episcopal ordination on March 21 of the following year ; Co - consecrators were Justo Mullor García , Apostolic Nuncio in the Ivory Coast and Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Burkina Faso , and Dieudonné Yougbaré , Bishop of Koupéla .

On July 2, 1984, he was appointed Bishop of Koudougou. He resigned from his office on May 21, 2011.
