Baxter Harris (born November 18, 1940 in Columbus , Kansas ) is an American actor in film, television and theater.

life and career

The actor, born in Columbus, Kansas, in 1940, made his film debut in a small role in Stuart Rosenberg's film Amityville Horror . He himself appeared as an actor on the screen in the 1980s and 1990s in smaller character roles in mostly well-known movies, such as in the gangster epic Once Upon a Time in America by Sergio Leone , in Richard Benjamin's comedy Mermaids Kiss Better , in Oliver Stones JFK - Tatort Dallas , in Martin Brest's Oscar-winning drama The Scent of Women with Al Pacino , in Wayne Wang's independent film Smoke , in Alan J. Pakula's thriller Confident Enemy or in Peter Medak's science fiction horror Species II .

In addition to his work in film, he has also appeared in various television films and episodes of television series such as Ryan's Hope , Spenser and Law & Order since 1979 . In 1995 he played the role of Rudy Warwick in the television miniseries The Langoliers in Tom Holland's film adaptation of Stephen King 's novel Langoliers .
