Bavaria Tour 2009
The 30th Bayern-Rundfahrt is a cycle stage race that took place from May 27th to May 31st, 2009. The tour led over five stages from Kelheim via Mühldorf am Inn , Ruhpolding , Bad Aibling , Schrobenhausen and Friedberg , where the individual time trial was held on May 30th . The final took place on May 31st in Gunzenhausen . The field of participants comprised 16 teams with seven drivers each, the total length of the tour was 740 kilometers.
By canceling the Deutschland Tour , the tour became the most important German stage race of the year. The race was part of the UCI Europe Tour 2009 and was classified in the highest category 2nd HC.
