action

The three friends Til, Sinan and Bramstedt dream of a music career and share their affection for Lisa, a girl from school. They try to get to Lisa, but she and her friends are currently preparing for a lifeguard on Sylt for several weeks. The three boys do everything in their power to be able to come to Sylt. When Bramstedt kills Lisa's team with an alcohol mixture, Lisa has no choice but to take Til, Sinan and Bramsted with her.

Luck seems perfect: You not only spend the summer with your loved one, but also get a record deal from the producer Winterstein. Til knows, however, that they have been mistaken for another band and that nothing will come of the record deal. Instead of informing his friends about the mistake, he puts his hopes in a band competition on Sylt, in which the winner receives a record deal.

In addition, the three friends in Lisa's lifeguard team have to prove themselves. However, the boys fail even the simplest exercises. Til can't even swim. When the real lifeguards finally step on the scene and the mix-up with the record deal is exposed, the perfect vacation begins to falter ...

Reviews

  • Save.TV calls the film a “relaxed beach comedy”, but also says “if you are looking for depth, this is the wrong place!”.
  • TV Spielfilm recommends the film as a “TV teen comedy about three weird birds” including a “special kind of boy band”.
  • The lexicon of international film sees “genre-appropriate entanglements” in an “undemanding television beach comedy for a young audience that one would like to lure with the much-invoked flair of Sylt”.
  • kino.de certifies that the station has "a happy and imaginative good-mood story" in which the young actors are "without exception great". At the same time it was admitted that a large part of the punch lines are "openly aimed at 16-year-old boys".
