The Beach Soccer World Championship 2000 was the sixth staging of the World Championship tournament for men in beach soccer . The tournament took place from February 13th to 20th, 2000 in Marina da Glória , Rio de Janeiro , Brazil . For the first time, the tournament was not held in Copacabana . All 20 games were played in one stadium.
