The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the ninth edition of the World Cup tournament for men in beach soccer organized by FIFA . For the first time the Beach Soccer World Championship was held in the Bahamas . It took place from April 27 to May 7, 2017 in Nassau .
Europe: The qualification took place in Jesolo , Italy from September 2nd to 11th, 2016. 28 teams took part and played the four places in the finals.
South America: The qualification took place from February 5 to 12, 2017 in Lambare , Paraguay .
Africa: The qualification took place from December 13-18 , 2016 in Lagos , Nigeria .
Asia: The qualification took place from March 4th to 11th, 2017 in Kuala Terengganu , Malaysia .
North and Central America: The qualification took place February 20-26, 2017 in Nassau , Bahamas . Sixteen teams took part in the qualifying tournament, of which the two finalists qualified for the World Cup.
Oceania: There was no qualification.
