The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2019 was the 10th edition of the World Cup tournament for men in beach soccer organized by FIFA . For the first time the Beach Soccer World Championship was held in Paraguay . It took place in Asunción from November 21st to December 1st, 2019 .

Application process and award

The schedule for determining the venue was as follows:

• June 14, 2018 - FIFA begins the application process
• June 29, 2018 - Deadline within which the national associations can declare their interest in hosting to FIFA.
• 6 July 2018 - FIFA sends the application campaign and the conditions of participation to the associations so that the national associations can analyze them.
• July 27, 2018 - Deadline for associations to accept the terms of the documents and submit an official offer.
• September 14, 2018 - Deadline for national associations to prepare and submit their complete application documents for evaluation by FIFA.
• October 26, 2018 - FIFA announces the venue.

Countries known to have applied to host the competition:

•  Australia
•  Barbados

On October 1, 2018, the FIFA Organizing Committee recommended that Paraguay be given the event, as they are the only association that have made an official bid after the first phase of the declaration of interests. On October 26, 2018, at the meeting of the FIFA Council in Kigali ( Rwanda ), it was announced that Paraguay would host the 2019 Beach Soccer World Cup.

qualification

• Africa: The qualification ( African Beach Soccer Championship ) took place from December 8th to 14th, 2018 in Sharm el-Sheikh , Egypt .
• Asia: The qualification ( Beach Soccer Asia Championship ) took place from March 7th to 17th, 2019 in Pattaya , Thailand .
• Oceania: The qualification ( Beach Soccer Oceania Championship) took place from June 20 to 24, 2019 in Papeete , Tahiti .
• Europe: The qualification took place in Moscow , Russia from July 19-27, 2019. 20 teams took part, who played out the four places in the finals.
• North, Central America and the Caribbean: The qualification ( Beach Soccer CONCACAF Championship ) took place from May 13th to 19th, 2019 in Puerto Vallarta , Mexico .
• South America: The qualification took place in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil from April 28 to May 5, 2019.
