Life

De Alba began her career on the film staff in 1989 in Jeff Burr's psychological thriller Stepfather II . After a few more smaller film productions she was in 1994 at Hollywood - blockbusters The cartel operates, followed by films like Eraser and Blast from the Past . In 2003 she won an Oscar for Julie Taylor's biopic Frida together with John E. Jackson in the category of best make-up and best hairstyles . She also received the award in the Best Mask category at the BAFTA Film Awards held in the same year .
