Beatus Kinyaiya
Beatus Kinyaiya OFMCap (born May 9, 1957 in Shimbwe ) is a Tanzanian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Dodoma .
Life
Beatus Kinyaiya joined the religious community of Capuchins , made his profession on June 5, 1988 and was ordained a priest on June 25, 1989 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Mbulu on April 22, 2006 . The Archbishop of Dar es Salaam , Polycarp Cardinal Pengo , donated him episcopal consecration on July 2nd of the same year; Co- consecrators were Josaphat Louis Lebulu , Archbishop of Arusha , and Jude Thadaeus Ruwa'ichi OFMCap, Bishop of Dodoma .
On November 6, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him the first archbishop of the Archbishopric of Dodoma, which was made a metropolitan seat on the same date . The inauguration took place on January 18 of the following year.
