Beautiful Mess (German: Beautiful Chaos ) is an English song that the team led by Borislav Milanow was written. It will be sung by Kristian Kostow , who represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev .

The song Beautiful Mess was composed and written by Borislaw Milanow, Sebastian Arman, Joacim Persson, Alexander V. Blay and Alex Omar.

In December 2016, the Bulgarian TV broadcaster BNT called on music producers and labels to send in potential entries for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. The participants had to submit a song, the performing artists as well as a stage and financing concept. The submitted contributions should then be evaluated by an internal and international jury. In the end, the contribution by Borislaw Milanow's team and the Bulgarian-Russian singer Kristian Kostow won , and Beautiful Mess was presented as a Bulgarian contribution on March 13, 2017.

Kostow appeared with the song in the second semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest as 15th of 17 entries. He was able to achieve the highest number of points with 403 points and thus moved into the final. There he reached second place behind Salvador Sobral on starting position 25 with 615 points . The jury awarded Bulgaria 278 points and the audience 337.

Music video

The music video was released on March 31, 2017, after a lyric video had previously been released. It shows Kostow and 34 other actors and was directed by Milen Dankov. The video has been compared to the music video for Iron by French singer Woodkid .
