Bebe Wood

Beatrice "Bebe" Wood (born August 8, 2001 in Kansas City , Missouri ) is an American actress who is best known for her role as Lake in the Hulu series Love, Victor .

Life

Wood was born and raised in Kansas City. In her hometown she was often on the theater stages from a young age, among other things she played the Cinderella there . In 2010 she left her hometown with her family and moved to New York, where she had her first television role in the US series Submissions Only in the role of Lizzie Walken at the age of ten . She played her first leading role from 2012 to 2013 in the series The New Normal . Further appearances such as in the series The Real O'Neals followed.

Wood also starred in the Hulu series Love, Victor . Since June 2020 she has played the role of Lake there. The spin-off series for the film Love, Simon was produced by actor Nick Robinson among others and is about Victor who moves to a new city with his family and has to deal with his sexual orientation when he realizes that his heart is for classmates Benji hits.
