Administration in Lütgenrode

The family business was founded in 1932 by Bertha Becker, née Isermann. Bertha Becker owned a piece of land with apple trees in Duderstadt at the end of the 1920s . She processed the harvest in Göttingen at a housewives ' association until she invested in the first plants such as “Mostmax” and “Baumannsche Glocke” in the early 1930s. At that time, the fruit juice technology was still in its infancy. In 1932, this sideline replaced the agricultural farm in Lütgenrode . She and her husband Ernst Becker concentrated exclusively on the production of fruit juices .

After the Second World War , her son Ernst Becker took over the press . He continued to invest in fruit juice technology and expanded the business.

In the mid-1970s, his sons Ernst and Karl-Otto Becker succeeded them. The sons continued to invest in the company and in the “beckers bester” brand, which developed into a national brand as a result of the positive development of reusable juices and the ongoing trend towards health-conscious nutrition. Eislebener Fruchtsaft GmbH & Co. KG was founded as a subsidiary in Eisleben in 1991 .

Since 2010 the company has been run by Sebastian Koeppel, Bertha Becker's great-grandson. In 2014 the subsidiary Eislebener Fruchtsaft GmbH & Co. KG was sold.
