action

Bella Jung receives a visit from her ex-husband Martin and his partner Catrin Reichelt. At their godson Tom's birthday party, a showdown takes place and Bella accidentally hits Martin on the head with a baseball. Martin is brought to the hospital unconscious and while the drive is still in motion, Bella's last and mutual memories go through her head. Concerned, Bella and Catrin inform themselves about his condition after the first examination and learn that the unconsciousness will continue for a while. Bella blames herself and so that he can wake up from the coma faster, she holds him a smelly cheese under his nose, which actually has the desired effect. Martin wakes up, but doesn't remember the last few years of his life. The doctor explains this type of amnesia to Bella and Catrin . Any kind of excitement should be avoided, otherwise Martin's memory could be lost forever. His daughter Lena means it so well that she tells him too many positive things from his recent past and he now imagines that the company he works for belongs to him. So that he doesn't get upset because reality looks different, everyone else has to play this game. Lena therefore speaks to Tobias Perlmann, the company boss, to initiate him as well and falls in love with him.

Even if Bella's ex-husband still means a lot to her, she definitely doesn't want to go back to her old life and tries everything so that Martin regains his memory. After all, she has developed further in the last three years and is no longer the cute little mouse who keeps house and child in good shape and kills the rest of the time with coffee parties. From one day to the next she was left alone, with no money of her own, but with an adolescent daughter. Today she has her own massage parlor - and Martin no longer knows all that. A difficult circumstance to bear for Bella. Martin, on the other hand, would love to remember everything and hopes that Bella can help him best. He leaves the clinic and spends half the day in her salon. There he is amazed at what “his wife” is doing here. Nor does he want to admit that he is supposed to be divorced from her. Bella on the other hand tries everything so that Martin remembers Catrin and the relationship with her. She convinces him to move in with Catrin. But that still doesn't bring his memory back. It all "feels" wrong to him and Catrin also realizes that Martin's heart is not free. When he happened to meet Bella late in the evening, he took her in his arms and said he couldn't help himself. She would be his wife even if she didn't want to. But inside she wants to, because she has never been able to completely break away from him in the past three years. Going back was never an option for her, but now back to the future might be.

Reviews

Rainer Tittelbach from tittelbach.tv rated: “'Bella Amore - Resistance is futile', the family reunion with the good friends of the 'Bella' clan is obviously going into the last round. Too bad. Because there is no series of entertainment films on German television that is so close to the reality of relationships and works so wonderfully as a comedy. ”“ 'Bella Amore - Resistance is futile' [...] now, after Bella's approach of social responsibility, turns back to matters of the heart to."

The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm gave the best rating (thumbs up) and said: “[...] after the great, socially critical part 5 ('Bella Casa'), the less than original conclusion is somewhat disappointing. But it is funny and lovable until the very end. "Conclusion:" An end with quirks, but always amusing. "
