Bellefontaine is a village and a former French commune with 126 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Manche department in the Normandy region (before 2016: Basse-Normandie ). It belonged to the Arrondissement of Avranches and the Canton of Isigny-le-Buat (until 2015: Canton of Juvigny-le-Tertre ).

With effect from 1 January 2017 the former municipalities were Juvigny-le-Tertre , La Bazoge , Bellefontaine , Chasseguey , Chérencé-le-Roussel , Le Mesnil-Rainfray and Le Mesnil-Tôve a nouvelle commune named Juvigny les Vallées merged and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Juvigny-le-Tertre.
