Long-leaved daisy ( Bellis longifolia ) is a species of daisy ( Bellis ).

features

Bellis longifolia is a perennial rosette hemicryptophyte that reaches heights of 5 to 20 centimeters. The roots are fleshy. The stem is leafless. The leaves are bright green, oblong to lanceolate, serrate and gradually narrowing at the base. The fruits are more or less bare.

The flowering period extends from April to July.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 18.

Occurrence

Bellis longifolia is endemic to Crete . The species grows on rocky floors, hedgehog cushion heaths , at springs and in sinkholes at altitudes of 1200 to 2000 meters.
