Benedict "Ben" Cayenne (born March 22, 1944 in Barrackpore , Penal-Debe , Trinidad ; † November 1, 2014 ) was a middle-distance runner from Trinidad and Tobago who specialized in the 800-meter distance . Because of his sprint strength , he was also used in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

In 1966 he won bronze at the Central American and Caribbean Games. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he was eighth over 800 m and came in sixth place with the relay of Trinidad and Tobago.

In 1970 he won silver over 800 meters at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh and in the 4 x 400 meter relay competition. At the Pan American Games in Cali in 1971 , he was seventh over 800 m and won bronze with the relay of Trinidad and Tobago.
